The phone sits in CallMOR's top bar. Undock the dial pad and it floats free, so it stays in view while you work in another screen. It uses your computer's microphone and headset — all it needs is a current web browser.

Common questions
Do I need desk phones?
No. Anyone with an extension can make and take calls on the phone built into CallMOR, using your computer's microphone and headset in a current web browser. The dial pad can be undocked so it floats in view while you work in another screen. Desk phones can still register to a line if you prefer a handset.
Can I keep my existing number?
Yes. Ask to bring it across from the Numbers page and follow the request there while the carriers move it. The request shows its progress until the carriers complete the move, so the number your customers already know keeps working and ends up ringing inside CallMOR.
Is the free trial number a full phone line?
No. The free local number does one thing: it forwards every call to a cell phone or landline you choose in the 50 states, DC or Canada (not toll-free), and you can change where it forwards whenever you like. Texting, phone menus and fax are not available on it — those come with the paid services, so switch on the phone system when you want extensions, ring groups and menus.
